This November's PTC meeting, scheduled for Monday, 11/20 at 7pm, will include two speakers, each tackling a different aspect of teen health.
Dr. Paula Pilcher will begin the evening with a 15-minute presentation on teen health and wellness. Dr. Pilcher is the founder of Empowerteen, a teen empowerment wellness program utilizing mental-emotional-physical-social preventive health education, yoga, movement, and music. More info about this program and the after-school opportunities can be found at http://www.empowerteen.org.
The second speaker of the evening will be Matt Cline, Cedar Park's Safety Resource Officer, who will spend 45 minutes discussing tools, apps and other methods to monitor and protect your student's digital life.
All CPMS parents are invited and encouraged to attend and learn more about these important and educational topics. These presentations begin at 7pm in the CPMS Media Center (library). Questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
