Join Cedar Park principal, Dr. Shannon Anderson, for an informal gathering on Wed, 2/12 at 9am.
This event will be a chance for CPMS parents to meet, ask questions, and share ideas with our CPMS administration. Learn more about the policies, practices and academics at CPMS in a smaller setting and meet other Cedar Park parents.
ALL PARENTS are welcome and encouraged to attend.
YOUR MONEY AT WORK: Library Upgrades Continue
Cedar Park students have some new digs to sink into, thanks to the generous support of our parent community & PTC. The latests round of improvements arrived last month, with a brand-new seating alcove in the far corner for all CPMS students to enjoy.
CPMS LMA, Debbie Hernandez, shares that students "all love it" and the new couch, loveseat, chair & ottoman have already become popular. The former couch situation was... beyond repair, so this furniture is a welcome and durable addition.
These is the second year of continued library upgrades, funded by your generous 5K donations. Last year's effort included a modular couch and new bistro tables.

Common Middle School Experience: Family Listening & Learning Sessions, Thursday, 2/6
BSD has announced a Common Middle School Experience: Family Listening & Learning Session on Thursday, February 6, from 6:30-7:30pm in Cedar Park’s library.
Learn more about the Beaverton School District’s efforts to create a common experience at all of our comprehensive middle schools. This effort includes middle school course offerings and schedules that are standardized across the District.
The Beaverton School District is working on a common comprehensive middle school experience, which would include middle school course offerings and schedules that are standardized across the District. Currently, period lengths vary and the number of elective courses students can access are not consistent.
More info can be found at BSD’s Common Middle School Experience webpage.
Cedar Park Achieves 5K Goal, Fully Funds 2019-20 Budget
Due to the recent influx of matching fund income, the Cedar Park PTC Board is proud to announce the successful fulfillment of this year’s PTC budget. BOOM!
Matching funds are an invaluable resource for the continued success of the PTC's efforts to buoy the programs and classrooms of Cedar Park. Without this income, our PTC budget would have fallen short. To date, the PTC has raised $55,000 this year, all which support the programs, events, and student enrichment at CPMS.
The all-school ice cream party has been scheduled for 2/7. THANK YOU to every 5K donor who made this achievement possible. #takesavillage #everydollarcounts #matchingcountstwice
Take a look at our 2019-20 budget to see everything that your donation will provide.
